Being a Photographer/Multimedia Professional
I started shooting in 1998 while attending the Elkhart Area Career Center's 2 year trade school program in Elkhart Indiana. After graduating high school (2000), I worked for a number of local commercial photographers and advertising agencies. I soaked in as much as I could and soon started my own company Elite Photographics in 2002. I took an interest in Graphic Design when I realized that the images that I saw in magazines had been digitally manipulated.
Web design, Printing and Film Making also became things that I had to learn. Multimedia or Visual Communication is what we see in our everyday lives. After 13 years of creating digital imagery I still enjoy learning new techniques and improving my craft as an artist. It's hard to believe that I found a profession that was so much fun to do that it never really felt like work to me.
